Second Chance Holiday Market
This is our first time hosting the Second Chance Holiday Market, and it began with a simple idea:
to gather the things we already have, such as forgotten artworks, generous neighbours, a warm studio and turn them into something meaningful.
Forgotten Art, Found Purpose
Hidden in drawers, stacked in corners, or left behind after class, these artworks once had their moment and then slipped quietly out of sight.
On December 13, they get another chance.
Many of the pieces come from st-Art students and will be very reasonably priced (think β¬15ββ¬30).
We also have artworks from independent artists who felt called to contribute to the cause.
Itβs a chance to collect something heartfelt and handmade, without the pressure or price tag of a traditional market.
Treats from Local Bakeries
Brittonβs β’ Maison Champenoise β’ Palesano β’ Salvo β’ Ulmus
These bakeries are contributing what they can, sweet, savory, simple, or special for the day. Itβs their way of showing up, sharing warmth, and helping us support people in need.
Why Weβre Doing This
At st-Art, we believe creativity is meant to be shared, especially when it can help someone else.
A portion of the dayβs proceeds will support the Gaza Soup Kitchen and relief efforts in Sri Lanka from the recent environmental devastation - a place deeply connected to our studio through a man who has been part of Carloβs family for decades.
Turning forgotten pieces and small treats into something that matters is exactly what st-Art Giving is about.
