    Founder & Art Director

    Carlo is an Italian based in Amsterdam, with over 20 years of experience in the art world as an artist and curator. He’s exhibited his work in Madrid, London, Amsterdam, and The Hague. After organizing workshops, lectures, and art events, he founded st-Art in January 2019 to further support and mentor emerging contemporary artists.

    Marketing Manager & Instructor

    Raquel is a minimalist visual storyteller based in The Netherlands. blending her love for art, photography, architecture, and interior design with her passion for travel. A dedicated ocean activist and nature enthusiast, her sophisticated style is deeply inspired by organic shapes and beauty of the sea and nature. She channels this connection into her work, texture art that captures the essence of natural landscapes.

  • Nooshin Zokaie

    Art Curator & Mentoring Manager

    Nooshin is an Iranian artist currently based in Rome, Italy. While she initially studied Economics, in August 2014, she decided to move to Milan, Italy and begin studying painting at the Academia delle Belle Arti di Brera. In her studies, she was strongly supported by her masters, developed a brillant portfolio of work, and today she works as a remote mentor for st-Art artists.

  • Lam Anh Tran

    Studio Assistant

    Lam Anh is a photographer and media scholar from Hanoi, Vietnam, currently based in Amsterdam. In 2022, she moved to the Netherlands to pursue a degree in Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in film studies. During a study exchange in the United States, she expanded her research interests by exploring photojournalism and queer history. Her practice centers on street photography, capturing fleeting moments and unnoticed details that connect people, place, and time.

  • Nicolas Prins

    Instructor & Mentor

    After receiving his MA in Painting from LUCA Brussels, Nicolas now teaches and lives in Amsterdam, Netherlands. “Art for me is about being able to convey the drama of someone who has been abandoned and how they can survive in this world. Being a person of colour and mixed heritage, queer, and immigrant, I have no difficulty finding subjects for my paintings. In them, I see myself as a film director composing dreamy narratives from unrelated source materials creating an uncanny and often dramatic scene.”

  • Casper Strietman

    Instructor

    Casper is an Amsterdam native and graduate of the St. Joost Academy of Art in Breda (2015), paints primarily in oil and explores architectural themes that capture the essence of places and their inhabitants. In particular, he reflects diverse social landscapes and often highlights the charm and vulnerability of society. Casper has participated in multiple international residencies, including collaborations with DJ Todd Terry in New York (2019), and recent residencies in Barcelona, Paris, and Jersey.

  • Valeria Panina

    Instructor

    Valeria is a Russian artist based in Amsterdam with a Master’s degree in Artistic Metalwork and Jewelry from the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. She has participated in numerous international exhibitions and competitions, and has led art masterclasses in Prague, specializing in watercolors and fine arts. She also works in the tattoo industry in Amsterdam, focusing on micro realism, graphic styles, and line work.

    Yassine is a visual designer with over 8 years of experience in digital art. He has created 2D/3D visual art and animation for several names in the Dutch music industry. He has also done work for some international names from the Hip/Hop scene, such as Trippie red, Rarri,6ix9ine, and Meek Mill.

    Based in Amsterdam, Kat is an artist and fashion illustrator whose work bridges art, fashion, and culture. She holds Master’s degrees in Fine Art (City & Guilds, London) and Fashion Design (Istituto Marangoni, Milan), blending conceptual depth with refined style. Passionate about progressive fashion, art, and music, she creates vibrant, thought-provoking visuals. After lecturing at Amsterdam Fashion Academy, she now shares her vision through st-Art Amsterdam and the creative collective Likeminded.

  • Paulina Siniatkina

    Paulina Siniatkina is a visual artist, educator, and global health advocate based in Amsterdam. Her work explores collective trauma and social taboos through a blend of personal insight and research. Trained in monumental painting at the Surikov Art Institute (2013), she holds a Master’s in socially engaged art from ArtEZ (2023). With over a decade of teaching experience, Paulina combines academic depth with a socially conscious approach, inspiring students to create with confidence and purpose.

  • Leyli Rashidi

    Leyli (b. 1986, Tehran) is an Amsterdam-based visual artist and educator working across painting, printmaking, installation, mural, and performance. She holds an MA from ArtEZ University of the Arts (2023) and has exhibited in Iran and the Netherlands, with recent shows at Extrapool (Nijmegen), Kevnexpo (Eindhoven), and Blind Walls Gallery (Breda). Her public works include In the Storm (Breda, 2024) and We Are Here (Belfast, 2023), a mural on the Peace Wall. Teaching and socially engaged practice remain central to her work.

    Emanuela is a heritage professional, educator, and exhibiting artist with over seven years of experience leading creative workshops in the Netherlands and Canada. She has curated international exhibitions and works as an art consultant specializing in modern and contemporary sculpture. With a background in museology and interpretive planning, she is dedicated to creating meaningful encounters with art and guiding students to explore their own creative voice. In her personal practice, she works primarily with oil pastels, emphasizing the tactile and immersive qualities of materials.
