Sweets in Watercolor – A Playful Still Life Workshop

Indulge your inner artist (and sweet tooth) in this delightful watercolor workshop, guided by artist Valeria Panina. Valeria is our watercolor instructor as well as she has been instructor in our studio’s daily lessons. Graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in St. Petersburg and is renowned for her delicate watercolor and ink sketches. She is also a fine-line tattoo artist, bringing an elegant and precise touch to her work.

In this session, we’ll celebrate the charm of sweets—think cakes, ice creams, candies, and colorful desserts—as expressive still life subjects. This workshop is perfect for those looking to explore watercolor in a light, playful way while developing their sense of color, shape, and creative flow.

What You’ll Learn:

🍰 Paint sweets from life, exploring their playful forms, textures, and vibrant colors.

🎨 Experiment with layering, color blending, and expressive details using watercolor.

This workshop is best suited for those with prior painting experience, preferably in watercolor, and is not suitable for beginners.
