Between Lines and Leaves

Between Lines & Leaves is a 2-hour ceramic tile painting workshop inspired by the rich ornamental traditions of the Mediterranean. Drawing from visual languages of Southern Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and North Africa, the workshop explores the balance between clear geometric structures and flowing floral motifs. Participants will work with patterns, borders, leaves, and blossoms, discovering how order and movement can naturally coexist on a single ceramic tile.

Open to all levels and designed as a relaxed, hands-on experience. You will be guided through the process of composing and painting your own tile, with room to experiment and make the design your own. After the session, the tiles will be glazed and fired, transforming your work into a lasting ceramic piece that reflects the aesthetics of Mediterranean ornament.

After the session, your painted tiles will remain in the studio for firing. We’ll send you an email in about two weeks to let you know they’re ready for pickup.
